So many people don’t take the time and effort to be genuinely interested in the people and companies they interact with, but it is truly a missed opportunity. Not only is deep interest a chance to understand your audience or client better, which serves you, but it is the key to being able to serve the people you work with more fully. When you are interested in what a company does, how they do it, and what their needs are, you have already won more than half the battle. Once you’ve created that kind of connection with them, your communication and ability to meet their needs will flow naturally and continue to deepen and mature.
